What is sublimation?

Sublimation is unique in that it involves inks that bond to the fabric fibers at a sub-surface level, rather than to the surface as most other apparel decoration inks do. In fact, the latter rely on a chemical additive called a binder to adhere to fabric. Sublimation relies on molecular bonding to attach and recolor the fabric’s fibers, resulting in an image that will not crack, peel or fade when washed. Therefore, sublimation is ideal for products such as team apparel, which undergoes a lot of physical stress and numerous washings in its lifetime.

What attachments will work and what will not?

What does work:

- Vector graphic in a .PDF file or a file that ends in .AI .SVG or .EPS

- High resolution JPEG, PNG, or other images with around 1000X1000 pixels or larger

What does not:

- Low resolution JPEGs from Google

- A photo of the logo on a shirt

- Screenshot from an iPhone

What do I do if the the logo I have is not vector and is too low res?

Ask the coach to check with his athletic director or school to get the full size logo or you can do a reverse image search on Google Images (click the camera icon in the search bar)

How do I make sure that the colors are correct?

We use the Pantone PMS color system to match colors. Some customers may have specific color codes (Example: Ohio State uses PMS 200 C and PMS 424 C for their scarlet and gray.) We will do our best to match their colors. Colors may vary slightly. It sometimes helps to ask a coach if they know a pro or college team whose colors we should match.

What if I don’t know if a file is vector?

Check the file extension for .PDF .AI .SVG or .EPS. You can also zoom in on the image until it fills your entire monitor. If the edges look crisp and not pixelated, it should be vector or high enough resolution to work.

Where do you manufacture your products?

We feature wholesale full-dye-sublimated performance wear for team sports and promotional-wear produced through our manufacturing partners all across the globe! It taken a great deal of time to develop and source all of our products through the best vendors possible.

How long will it take for my products to arrive?

After an order is put into production, on average, it takes about 30 days.

What is the minimum order quantity? 

The minimum order, per item, is 10. Re-orders have a minimum of 5. 

How long will it be until I receive my designs?

On average, designs take between 2-3 business days.

Can I please be sent samples along with a size run?

Please contact your rep to see if they carry samples and/or size runs. Reps are encourage to carry samples to show customers but are not required. 

Do I pay for shipping and/or taxes?

The price shown on the team web-store is the all-inclusive price!

When do I have to pay for the products?

Emblem Athletic requires that every customer pays 100% upfront with a money back guarantee. If a school is required to pay with a PO, then please have the school submit the PO through our electronic invoice.
